Howdy book people,
Release day is creeping closer and closer, which means it’s time to start talking about all preorder related things! The first is a bonus scene secret I’ve been holding onto since February, and I’m very excited to share it with y’all. Are you ready for it?
You all can thank Caroline from Forever for the bonus content you’ll receive in your inbox upon proof of preorder, because you guessed it: Marcela and Theo are fucking in the library (sshhhhh, don’t tell her boss). Writing this scene was so much fun, and I can’t wait for fans of The Next Best Fling to read this spicy bonus scene from Theo’s POV.
It’ll take place after the events of the book, so make sure you read it after finishing TNBF. If I’ve intrigued you, all you have to do is save your preorder receipt from ANY retailer. More details to come soon on where to submit receipts, so be on the lookout.
In other news, there will also be signed and personalized copies of The Next Best Fling available to preorder from Nowhere Bookshop. I’m so glad I finally get to share the link with all of you because it’s one of my most frequently asked questions on Instagram (and I love you all for it!!!).
Be sure to include your name in the text box and if you wish, anything else you’d like me to write in your book. A silly message, a drawing, a promise in blood to give your favorite side character a book next (Just kidding! Can you imagine how unsanitary that would be?). You name it and—within reason—into the book it goes!
Nowhere Bookshop is my favorite indie bookstore in San Antonio so I’m extremely happy to be teaming up with them for this. I even did an event there with Etta Easton for her debut back in April, which was a lot of fun. If you’re local, save the date for July 9th to hang out with us again! (;
I’ve also been told I’ll be receiving some super cute TNBF-themed bookmarks and depending on how many my publisher sends me, I’ll be trying to smuggle some into a fair few Nowhere Bookshop preorders.

The checkout card, are you kidding me? Dana’s vision really popped off on this one, and the design team knocked it out of the park! The social media font might look a little different once they’re printed but aside from that, I CANNOT wait to get these in my greedy little hands.
